Realme C15 is the new budget phone launched by Realme on 28 July 2020. The Realme C15 comes with a giant battery backup of 6000 mAh. The phone boasts of having a stand by time of up to 57 days. So what is new with Realme’s new phone? Let’s do the Realme C15 Review.
Realme C15 is loaded with features at just around 10,000 Rs. The phone is on a bit heavy side and weighs 209 g. It has a 6.5 inch HD + LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It runs on Helio G35 octa-core gaming processor with HyperEngine technology featuring multiple optimizations. Although it is an entry-level processor, it provides for a great performance and can handle many tasks well.
It has a beautiful geometric gradient design with sturdy plastic body. Realme C15 is splash resistant. It has a finger print sensor on its back. The phone uses Realme’s UI. The phone comes with up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. The phone also supports memory expansion of up to 256 GB of storage with the help of a micro SD card for better storage.
It comes with Corning gorilla Glass for screen’s safety. It comes in two colours, Marine Blue and Seagull Silver. The phone has a water drop display. The phone comes with a triple card slot to handle two nano-SIM cards and a microSD card. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port, and a single speaker grille at the bottom.
The main selling point of both phones is its large battery life.It features 6,000 mAh battery, which will easily deliver the user a day and half to two full days on a single charge. With such large battery, you won’t have to worry much about charging your phone again and again. When it comes to charging, the Realme C15 supports 18 W fast charging. With its capacity of fast charging feature, you can charge you phone really quickly and continue your day without ever having to charge it again. There are not many phones at this budget that can boast of such excellent battery life.
Another special feature of Realme C15 is that it comes with super power saving mode. The super power saving mode will make you last your 5 percent battery to up to 2.9 days on standby. The phone is rather a giant when it comes to battery. With such large battery, you won’t need to carry power bank with this phone. The phone also supports reverse charging so you can charge other phones with its charger as well.
The company has packed it with four cameras on the back panel. The setup comprises a 13 MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a pair of 2 MP sensors with an f/2.4 aperture. You can even make 1080p videos at 30fps. The phone features Super NightScape for night photography. Super NightScape helps Realme C15 to capture more clear photos during night. It is a great feature especially for night photography enthusiasts. The phone features ultra wide mode for wide angle photography. You can capture a lot of detail using this feature. It is specially a good feature for shooting large landscapes. It has an 8 MP front selfie camera.
At just around 10,000 Rs. the phone has many features that may it a great entry at this segment. The Realme C15 Review look good on paper. But in real life, there are some issues with it. The fast charging for instance takes a long time to completely charge the giant battery of the phone. The cameras are also not extraordinary. They are just okay and could have been better. At this price, Realme’s competition, especially Xiaomi has better features. Xiaomi’s Redmi 9 Prime in fact has better features than Realme’s C15. The only thing that seems to be working for C15 is its large battery. So if you are looking for a phone with a lot of battery backup, C15 is the phone for you.
