Jumper EZpad 6 Plus Review: Design

Jumper EZpad goes a bit traditional for its design. The aspect ratio for the screen they chose to go for is 16:9 instead of 3:2 ratio, which would have been a better option for productivity. It is a great option for traditionalists who are looking for a more classic look in their tablet rather than a modern one. It has not gone for any premium finish, which might be unsatisfying for some.

Due to its focus on a traditional and classic look, it has thick bezels. It is a large tablet at 11.6 inches. It feels like it is made for a budget. It’s surface although has an aluminium finish, it still lacks the lustre of a premium tablet.

It is the size of an A4 sheet paper. Its dimensions are 297 mm length, 183 mm width and 16 mm thickness. It is portable and can be carried with your files and folders due to its small size. It weighs around 995g without the keyboard. The keyboard naturally increases its weight and puts it at 1.29 Kg.

Furthermore, alongside the power and volume button, there is an audio jack, a micro USB port, a full size USB 3.0 port, a microSD card slot and a micro HDMI port. It also comes with front speakers in the front. It gets a kickstand for resting it on surfaces.

Jumper EZpad 6 Plus Review: Specifications

Jumper EZpad 6 plus does not have a good keyboard. For a good typing experience and especially for people who write a lot, this is one of EZpad’s biggest downside. It has pretty small keys to type properly. Another thing that it lacks is a big touchpad. EZpad 6 plus offers a very small touchpad which can get a bit clumsy while using. Right beside the arrow keys, there is a touchpad disabling button to disable or enable the touchpad. There is also a sleep button beside the arrow keys. Since the keyboard is small and clumsy, the chance of hitting the sleep button and touchpad disabling button increases. This makes it for a poor experience for people who might tap on them accidentally while trying to reach the navigation keys.

Jumper EZpad 6 plus comes with a good display. It is a 1920 X 1080 display which allows for a beautiful viewing experience. Although, it does have some downsides as well. The screen is highly reflective which makes it difficult to use in and around the sunlight. EZpad also has good speakers which deliver good audio. It comes with two front-facing speakers which result in clear audio.

However, it is not a very long lasting tablet. With normal usage, it should last you anywhere around 3 to 4 hours.

Jumper EZpad 6 Plus Review: Competition

There are lots of competitions for EZpad 6 plus. You can have a look at Linx 12×64. It is more budget friendlier than EZpad 6 plus. EZpad also does have some downsides as well. It is powered by a weaker processor. It is powered by Intel x5-Z8350 CPU. Although, with Linx, you get the more modern version of WiFi 802.11ac. It also has a secondary camera.

You can also take a look at Telecast X3 Plus. It is very similar to EZpad when it comes to features. But one thing you get with Telecast is that it comes with a rear camera.Jumper EZpad 6 Plus

Final Verdict

For every one of its disadvantages, the EZpad 6 Plus is as yet a phenomenal Windows tablet in case you’re making a decision about it as far as sheer an incentive for cash. The ample 6GB of framework memory combined with double speakers make it a great option for those looking for a tablet and laptop.
