In this article, we will be covering processors and comparing two processors from our mobile. Samsung Exynos 9611 VS Snapdragon 712 will be our target, will compare upside down.

Simple as that, a microprocessor is a device that contains smaller components like diodes, resistors, etc. It is a device that could be called a mini CPU because their functions are the same. It contains millions of tiny components that allow a device to function. A microprocessor is a device that communicates with other functions, which means that without a microprocessor, any device would be just useless.

Any companies that produce microprocessors need to scale their products every time. A low-graded microprocessor can’t give you sufficient output for multitasking, gaming, and all that heavy processing too.

Exynos 9611 vs Snapdragon

In the early 2019s, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 712 microprocessor. Earlier versions of the Snapdragon had also arrived, Snapdragon 665, Snapdragon 710, followed by the Snapdragon 712. The Snapdragon’s 712 fabrications created the difference; it was the user’s first pick throughout the year. Now Samsung needs to come with a blast, and they made it by releasing Exynos 9611. 

In the late 2019s, when Qualcomm started gaining popularity for the Snapdragon 712, Samsung made its release. Exynos 9611 was advertised as a mid-range microprocessor that was capable of providing high-end abilities. It was clear that Snapdragon 712 found a rival quicker than expected. Many assumed that if it were not for Samsung Exynos 9611, the Snapdragon would have acquired a higher market share. The tables seem to be turned now.

The best way to decide which device is better is to study and compare their specifications. That is what we do when we buy a phone, right. So in the right corner, we have the oldest market player, Samsung and in the left, we have the new-gen Qualcomm.

Qualcomm snapdragon 712 has around 8GB RAM, which is a dual channel. Its storage is up to UFS 2.1. For reference, most premium android devices run on UFS 2.1. Snapdragon 712 can support a 3360x1440p QHD+ HDR10 display.

LG has the same monitor display; imagine how immersive it is to have a pocket-sized 2k quality display. It has a 10nm processor, which consumes less power than the previous generations. The image signal processor is Spectra 250 with 2x. All these features are highly functional and have received no issues yet.

Samsung has a 4GB quad-channel RAM. Just like the Snapdragon 712 Exynos 9611 has UFS 2.1 storage. Which to be honest, it is not much of a challenge as Samsung has always sported that.  Just like its competition, it has a 10nm processor.

Reviewers have claimed that the Snapdragon 712 flaunts a better display than the Samsung Exynos, but the Exynos gives better speed in running an application; there is no lag. The application opens faster.

The Verdict of Exynos 9611 vs Snapdragon 712

Samsung cannot pull it longer; the company cannot provide the same services as Snapdragon. The processor was made for the mid-range budget, and providing the same quality of the product was mandatory to sustain in this price bracket.

This time snapdragon has made through it, with its GPU, CPU, display, ISP, and AL engine. Believe it! In this price bracket, Snapdragon has raised the bar to the extent that it is too hard for other companies to compete. The performance of the Snapdragon 712 was also comparable to the high-end processors that cost way too high.

But, there is a catch here. While Qualcomm received better reviews, Samsung Exynos 9611 ended up earning more customers. Samsung’s customers were also many corporations and not just individual buyers. It clearly states that while better technology, innovations, and pocket-friendly, might shine brighter. We believe that Samsung can still develop stronger because there are millions of Samsung lovers throughout the world. There are still chances left for Samsung, customer support is hard to buy, and both the companies know it well. People will still buy something good if it costs a bit more.
