Although it is an entry-level processor, it provides for a great performance and can handle many tasks well.

The phone comes with a triple card slot to handle two nano-SIM cards and a microSD card. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port, and a single speaker grille at the bottom.

Battery Life

Realme C15 Review

The main selling point of both phones is its large battery life.It features 6,000 mAh battery, which will easily deliver the user a day and half to two full days on a single charge. With such large battery, you won’t have to worry much about charging your phone again and again. When it comes to charging, the Realme C15 supports 18 W fast charging. With its capacity of fast charging feature, you can charge you phone really quickly and continue your day without ever having to charge it again. There are not many phones at this budget that can boast of such excellent battery life.

Another special feature of Realme C15 is that it comes with super power saving mode. The super power saving mode will make you last your 5 percent battery to up to 2.9 days on standby. The phone is rather a giant when it comes to battery. With such large battery, you won’t need to carry power bank with this phone. The phone also supports reverse charging so you can charge other phones with its charger as well.

The company has packed it with four cameras on the back panel. The setup comprises a 13 MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a pair of 2 MP sensors with an f/2.4 aperture. It is a great feature especially for night photography enthusiasts. The phone features ultra wide mode for wide angle photography. You can capture a lot of detail using this feature. It is specially a good feature for shooting large landscapes. It has an 8 MP front selfie camera.

At just around 10,000 Rs. the phone has many features that may it a great entry at this segment. The Realme C15 Review look good on paper. But in real life, there are some issues with it. The fast charging for instance takes a long time to completely charge the giant battery of the phone. The cameras are also not extraordinary. They are just okay and could have been better. At this price, Realme’s competition, especially Xiaomi has better features. Xiaomi’s Redmi 9 Prime in fact has better features than Realme’s C15. The only thing that seems to be working for C15 is its large battery. So if you are looking for a phone with a lot of battery backup, C15 is the phone for you.

Over the years, AI has advanced into something out of a science fiction movie. Machines can be trained to work and accomplish everyday tasks like a human being would. In 2019, a robot hand called Dactyl trained by OpenAI successfully solved the Rubik’s cube. Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Google Now are some of the examples of advancements in the field of AI. They can perfectly use human language to answer questions and perform various tasks. Tesla has built cars which don’t need humans to drive. The car can very well drive on its own and may stop if someone stands or passes by from its front. The Future of AI is continuously evolving and advancing towards new developments beyond our wildest imaginations.

AI in our Daily Life

Future of AI

Most of us are using or are being influenced by AI without even realizing it. The thing that we see on our smartphones and online while searching is “recommendations”. When an app or website recommends you something on the basis of your usage, that app or website is making use of AI to do that. Whether we search for stuff using our voice over our phones or ask Alexa to do something for us, we are making use of AI. The Google Maps that we use when we search for directions has been made a possibility only through AI. The music recommendations that we receive on our apps or the video recommendations on YouTube are all because of AI.

Not only this, when we are surfing through our social media, these social media apps and websites are already using AI to give us a better experience. For example, Twitter uses AI to fight off inappropriate content and improve user experience. Not just various social media platforms, but various chatbots too use their AI technology to understand the words and phrases and deliver content accordingly. Face recognition is another blessing of AI that many of us have constantly used in our phones. AI has been also beneficial in the world of gaming where it can be used to track human movements to improve the playing experience. AI is also being constantly used in health care and medical field to help doctors with a better diagnosis of their patients.

Future of AI

Future of AI

AI has a vast scope and it is here to stay. The field is being constantly explored and it is constantly transforming our daily lives. From the medical field to everyday usage, AI has continuously helped us in easing up our tasks. AI has made it easier for the doctor to understand what kind of diagnosis is needed with the patient. AI is constantly being used in the military to reduce causalities among soldiers. It is being used to develop advanced weapons so that wars can be won instantly with less damage to human lives.

AI finds usage in our everyday lives as well. The day is not far when we all will have our personal robots that look like us and will do our day to day tasks. Maybe we will even have flying cars and who knows maybe someday we are able to develop our own Time Machine! That would be a fantastic achievement for humankind, although we are still too far away from it. Deepfake is another modern day invention which uses sophisticated algorithms to put one person’s face over other person in a video so well that it becomes almost impossible to recognize through a naked eye.

AI is being used to make our fantasies and dreams a reality. It is a constantly developing field which is overcoming our daily difficulties and easing up our task. Soon, AI will become so much a part of our life that we won’t be able to live without it. From security to healthcare, the developments that we have made in recent years have made it possible to believe that we finally understand AI. It is a fact that in the coming days, AI is going to take over the world and we will not only improve the technologies that we have today but by using these technologies, we will also be able to improve our lives as well.

The major difference when it comes to both the processors is in their CPU’s. Although both processors boast of 8 cores, when it comes to CPU frequency, Snapdragon takes the lead over its counterpart MediaTek. The CPU frequency of Snapdragon is calculated to be as 2300 MHz while for Helio G95, it is 2050 MHz. The Geekbench score for single core of both Snapdragon and Helio G95 are 579 and 516 respectively while for multi- core it is 1704 and 1611 respectively. Both are good scores but Snapdragon is at clear advantage over Helio G95. But surprisingly, the AnTuTu score for both these processors are 281100 and 296805 for Snapdragon and Helio respectively. When it comes to size, Snapdragon stands at 8nm and Helio G95 stands at 12nm. With its small size, Snapdragon has a clear edge over Helio G95.

GRAPHICSSnapdragon 720G vs Helio G95

Both processors offer great graphics. Snapdragon uses Adreno 618 as its GPU while Helio G95 uses Mali-G76MC4 as its GPU. The GPU frequency Helio G95 is clocked at a higher speed at 900MHz when compared to Snapdragon’s 500MHz. GPU frequency determines how fast the graphics can be processed. Hence the faster speed naturally translates to a better visuals and performance. It is not a surprise as Helio G95 is targeted more towards the gamers for better visuals and performance.

MEMORYSnapdragon 720G vs Helio G95

Huawei Matebook X Pro Review: Is It Good To Buy?Huawei Matebook X Pro Review: Is It Good To Buy?

Huawei Matebook X Pro Review

Chinese giant Huawei has launched a new laptop, Huawei Matebook X Pro, and by no means does it fails to impress. Comping up to Huawei Matebook X Pro Review, it’s a 14-inch laptop with various new features like Intel’s 10th generation processor with a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU for better visuals. It continues with the tradition of a pop-up camera on its keyboard. It comes with some new excellent features and technology, but most of its features are still the same. This leaves many people with a question… is it a good option to buy? Is it worth the money? Let’s find out all about it in this article.

1) It comes with the 10th generation Intel processors

2) It has an excellent display

3) It comes with a brilliant design

4) It has a backlit keyboard

5) It has an excellent touchpad

1) It comes with poor camera placement

2) It is not very flexible

3) It does not have the best fingerprint scanner

4) It has only one USB-A 3.0 port

5) It doesn’t come cheap

Huawei’s Matebook X Pro comes with great styling and finish. It has a great display. It has been paired with Intel’s 10th generation processors. Intel’s Core i5 version and Intel’s Core i7 are the two processors that are provided with the laptop. The i5 version is around 1500 dollars while the i7 version is around 1800 dollars. Both are low voltage CPU’s and are part of the Intel’s Comet Lake family.

Huawei Matebook X Pro

Huawei Matebook X Pro is a high-end laptop with 3000 x 4000 3:2 IPS touch screen display. It comes with very tiny bezels with over 90% screen to body ratio. Since it does not have a camera on its screen, it can easily afford to go with such a high ratio. Its great display has 100% coverage of sRGB. It comes with a bright screen to help people use it with as much comfort outdoors as it is being used indoors.

Huawei Matebook X Pro

Talking about Huawei Matebook X Pro Review, it has a sturdy metallic design. It might feel heavy to people who are used to ultra-light laptops, but it is not the heaviest one in its class. At around 1.3 kg, it is still a very light option over other heavyweights.

It comes with a backlit keyboard. It has become an essential feature, especially for the gamers to have a backlit keyboard which makes the keyboard look more beautiful. The backlit keyboard is especially good for those people who work in low lights as they don’t have to search that hard for keys when they are already lit.

It comes with a huge trackpad. It allows for smooth gestures and easy workflow. The laptop also comes with a fingerprint sensor which is situated on the power button. It is not the best position to place the fingerprint due to its small size. Many of its competitions come with face recognition in addition to fingerprint sensors. It would have been a clear advantage for Huawei if it had provided face recognition for security in addition to a fingerprint scanner to its users.

Regardless of its beautiful design, it still has some issues that are strange for its price. One of the major design flaws is the placement of the camera. To reduce the bezels on the laptop, the camera is placed right on the keyboard with the function keys. This is as awkward a camera can get, just right in your face.

Another issue with the laptop is its hinge. Although it sits at a comfortable position for all sorts of users, it still isn’t flexible enough. At this high price, that is the least that one may expect. Many of its competitors provide with greater flexibility.

It comes with two USB-C ports with an option of fast charging and only one USB-A 3.0 port.  Another issue that keeps coming, again and again, is its cost. It does not come cheap by any means. It is far more costly for its features than it should. Its cost is more than that is expected from a high-end laptop even if it brings features which can match MacBook Pro.

An excellent battery backup and fast charging capabilities make it a traveller friendly device. It can easily last a person for over 8 hours. Since it can charge up fast, 8 hours are actually enough for regular usage.

Huawei has created an innovative device which is a high-end one which does not come cheap. Is it worth the money? There are other options like Dell XPS 13, which has almost similar features at much less prize. You can easily find various gaming laptops and even apple laptops which are equal to it or better than it in one way or another. So what makes it stand alone from its counterparts? It has one of the best screens for its price. Not only that, some of its features are unmatched by its rivals by a long distance. The final decision rests entirely with you. If you can compromise with the camera, low graphics and high price with a great screen, lightweight and durability, then the Huawei Matebook X Pro is for you.

HP Omen 15: The Good or Bad OmenHP Omen 15: The Good or Bad Omen

HP Omen 15 Review

The attractiveness of HP Omen 15 comes from its elegant portability and striking features. Historically, portable computers were considered to be a small forte market. They mainly specialized in field applications such as the military, accountants and sales representatives. In time, they became smaller, lighter and cheaper with larger and better quality screens. Laptops became a professional necessity from job-specific gadgets. Something that was meant for the military is now a corporate vital.

The market for laptops is continuously expanding. There is a constant change between user preferences. Most customers are switching from desktop computers to laptop portables. That is the reason that many new generation tech developers are taking interest in meddling with laptops. While new generation developers are moving into this field, old competitors are trying their best to maintain their previous position.

HP is the second-largest producers of Laptop across the globe second to none but Lenovo. Every year HP puts in countless efforts to launch startling gadgets in hope to replace Lenovo. However, Lenovo is anything but easy to beat, with a reputation for creating remarkable laptops in all ranges. One such effort is the HP Omen 15.

Launched on 21 July 2020 HP Omen 15 is a high-end laptop. It is a gaming laptop with high specifications. The electronics market has seen a rise in laptops that categorize themselves as gaming laptops seen the upsurge in its demand. They have been popularized by YouTubers and tech geeks.

HP Omen 15
Buy HP Omen 15 Laptop

It flaunts a sleek, sophisticated and silent design. The laptop is not too exaggerated to the point that it is the first thing you notice in a room. It is more moderate and subtle.  The HP Omen laptop lid displays a beautiful diamond that shimmers depending on the room light. The RGB lighting of the keyboard can be switched off so it will not stand out in a professional surrounding.

One impressive feature of the Laptop is the port selection. It has a USB-C (with Thunderbolt 3), 3x USB-A, HDMI, Mini Display Port, Ethernet and a headphone/microphone to go with the laptop.

However, this is where a few complaints rise towards the HP Omen 15. The first is that while the laptop is sturdy enough to endure a few knocks here and there, the screen is a bit wobbly. The wobbly screen can sometimes be a typing distraction or sometimes even a gaming distraction. This could just be a nit-pick but the second grievance is not.

It is a rather heavy device. It is not the lightest weight device out there so if you were looking for one of those you might want to consider other options. Heavy laptops are less portable while too many this would not matter, especially because it is acceptable for gaming laptops to be heavy. But many customers are looking for multi-takers and not just exclusive gaming devices and a heavy laptop could be a problem for them.

It has a Full HD IPS display. According to the reviews, the display is fairly moderate this is a disappointment for many as you would expect an above-average display form a high-end tech gadget or say a PC. HP had previously announced that there would also be a 300Hz configuration and a separate 4K option of the same model but they had been absent from the HP store initially. If you are looking for more colour accuracy or want to do work that requires smarter colour intelligence then it is advised to look into the 4K option. With a 15.6 inch display to go with the HD performance, the HP Omen 15 might not get a perfect score but 9/10 will be a logical reply.

HP Omen 15

The most important criteria of a gaming laptop are definitely the performance it delivers and the same goes for HP Omen 15. The performance standard is very high and hard to beat. To be specific the HP Omen 15 boasts the 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H, it might not get better than that. The graphic card is one of the best in the market today Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics card. It has a 1TB SSD included which is a very expensive configuration.

The performance specs got all the gamers very excited even before the result. Some of its features are very high-end that too at a price that is more than acceptable. It also has an RTX GPU that can give you access to ray tracing and DLSS. The HP Omen also exploits the 144Hz refresh rate to the best by enabling benchmark frame rates.

HP Omen 15 is one of the few laptops that provide 1080p ray tracing at an affordable price. Not only that but also the other specs that make this laptop the start of the gaming world. If there is one thing we can be sure about, it is the fact that HP Omen 15 has a great delivery performance.

The RGB keyboard of the HP Omen 15 is a fan favourite. But that is not the only thing about it. It has beautiful keycaps that are perfect for gamers. The spacing is also appropriate to enable maximum dexterity. RGB can also be controlled through setting which is an added benefit.

The HP Omen 15 Track-pad has also come to be known for its precision. It is very responsive and navigation is rather easy on the said Track-pad.

It is already established that HP Omen 15 has an Intel CPU. While Intel CPU is known for many things great battery life is not one of them. The battery life of the Omen 15 is rather moderate. It is also already known that batteries damage with time at least to some extent. This is one place where the HP Omen 15 might demand work.

While there are some areas where the HP Omen 15 can work it has nailed the performance aspect. If great performance is your foremost aim than the HP Omen 15 is made for you.

Asus VivoBook S433 Review: Is This the Best Buy?Asus VivoBook S433 Review: Is This the Best Buy?

Asus VivoBook S433 Review

Corporates, telecommunication, education and even freelancing all have that one gadget in common, that is a laptop. The computer that you can carry anywhere has become a requirement of all profession. Predictions say that sales for laptops are only meant to go up. With the need and compulsion for this gadget rising, it is only logical the demand will be on the rise. That is why laptops create one of the most competitive markets in the area of gadgets. These days all you need is a laptop and you can do almost anything from anywhere.

Released not so long ago on 30th July 2020. Now here goes Asus VivoBook S433 review. Asus VivoBook S433 is Asus’ youngest child. It is a part of the VivoBook series which was known to create stars likes Asus Flip and Asus AMD Ryzen. Asus VivoBook 433 was an anticipated model due to the benchmark that models previous to it had made. The VivoBook Series was an Intel-based range. Almost everything in the laptops was an Intel creation. It is not surprising considering that Asus has always been partners with Intel and sometimes AMD. VivoBook specialized in thin and light laptops and Asus VivoBook S433 was meant to do the same.

Let’s see some Asus VivoBook S433 Review as follows:

 Body Construction

Sporting a metal build VivoBook S433 weighs 1.4 KG and hence is more on the lighter side. A metal build means that the laptop will be sturdier. It will be able to take more damage compared to plastic made ones. The lightweight and damage resistance make it ideal for movement. Metal bodies also give any gadget especially a laptop a more premium feel and elite personality. VivoBook S433 laptop is available in four colours that are named, Gaia Green, Resolute Red, Dreamy White and Indie Black. Noticeably the colour choice made with VivoBook S433 was very bold and was meant to make the laptops stand out.

The new VivoBook S433 has an Intel Core i7 10 generation mobile processor. It has a high-performance mobile chip. It facilitates higher CPU performance. The laptop is known to give excellent CPU performance. It has a 1.8GHz speed that can go up to 4.5GHz in turbo boost for launching programs. With a quad-core processor, VivoBook also ensures better multi-tasking abilities.

In the department of Graphice, VivoBook S433 has Nvidia GeForce graphic card. Nvidia is known to manufacture the best graphic cards however this laptop is not compatible with high-speed gaming even when the graphic card has dedicated performance.

asus vivobook s433

If we talk about Asus VivoBook S433 review, VivoBook S433 has a full HD Camera. It also has all the basics essential to a laptop, USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Type-A, USB 2.0, and HDMI. Intel Wi-Fi 6 of the VivoBook S433 is also capable of giving a super-fast internet speed. With the VivoBook S433, you will also receive a backlit keyboard for typing in dim areas. A glass sensor touchpad that Asus claims will be very responsive and also stereo speakers for maximum sound quality.

A 14-inch display and full-colour coverage, it seems that there is nothing else one could ask for. The Asus VivoBook S433 has a pixel rate of 1920 x 1080 PX. This in itself is not bad but become moderate when compared. Asus has had many laptops previously with lower costs that sported the same pixel rate. While the pixel rate is not bad you would expect it to get better as the price becomes higher.

The IPS display allows a better colour appearance. With a matte display that enhances this experience, display only becomes better. It flaunts 95.3% colour coverage and also amazing contrasts on all brightness levels.

Value for Money

asus vivobook s433

As of latest, the VivoBook S433 is priced at 71,000 in India. In a very simple term, the Laptop will not seem worth it too. Better specifications have been provided by many companies even Asus at the same price. While the configurations are not bad in a standalone manner paired with the price it might be a bit exaggerated.

If you are looking for temporary laptops that deliver good performance and are portable even if they last only a few years then the VivoBook is not for you. In all honesty, it is also not a student laptop due to its price.

VivoBook vs. ZenBook

ZenBook is a series of ultra-books light laptops produced by Asus. Just like the VivoBooks, they designed the ZenBooks with a brushed aluminium framework to give high rigidity. Instead of the usual plastic framework that is not unpopular today, both series resorted to metal. ZenBook is a comparison in more high-end than the VivoBook is.

Unlike VivoBook, the ZenBook is not advertised as a light-weight laptop. ZenBook is better known for its durability and high speed. The VivoBook is a mid-budget laptop line, low-cost in price, and built with 10th generation components. ZenBook on the other hand is more robust, fast and have additional features certain to provide the best product performance.

asus vivobook s433

VivoBook S433 is created for a very small range of people. They are perfect for writers who need to work while travelling. It is for full time freelancers are deeply involved in the business. The laptop is for editors, proofreaders and video makers on the go. In all cases, it is for full-time professionals. A gamer will immediately find it not worth it due to its specifications that will not handle high-speed processes. Choose the VivoBook S433 only I fit is professionally relevant for you.

Best 4K Gaming Monitors 2020Best 4K Gaming Monitors 2020

The biggest, the worst and the best

Gaming is not a hobby anymore. Gone are the days when computer games were limited to small race cars that were only good enough to be a past time. Gaming is one of the most competitive markets today. The contenders are involved in an endless race to become a market dragon. Beginning from YouTube, gaming has become a profession for the brave-hearted. Companies have begun to focus on gamers as their target buyers. This is because they have emerged as a group that sacrifice price for the quality. A high-end value is not a deal-breaker for them.

The device that has become a global qualification more than a global product is gaming monitors. The companies that create games have become Spartan. They compete with themselves and try to create an experience better than the last one. With an increase in the effort, running a game is more arduous than before. For example Detroit: Become Human. The game is impossible to run on any general PC, it requires a high-end specification to be even functional. Without supportive hardware, a user will be unable to play any elite games.

Best 4K Gaming Monitors 2020

While lag is one great excuse to lose, it is not an ideal situation. This is where best 4K gaming monitors 2020 come in. They are the top-notch devices and it would not be illogical to call them the king of PCs. They give the finest gaming experience, like one of those expensive restaurants that are the exclusive culinary connoisseurs of the city.

4K monitors are capable of supporting even the highly supreme gaming software that is oh so very common today. They not only provide high-resolution displays but bring with them the latest advancements in screen technology. They complement not only the present hardware but also many future ones. This means waving goodbye to lag will be easier.

Acer Predator XB273K

Buy Acer Predator XB273K

It was priced around $1,299 and claimed to be worth a chance. It has a premium refresh rate of 144Hz which is more than acceptable. It also has an Nvidia Graphic Card. It is worth knowing that currently Nvidia is the leading manufacturer of Graphic cards and it would not be an exaggeration to call it the best of the best.

The image resolution is the most important quality of a 4K PC. So with a stunning GPU, it needs to have a good display. Acer Predator XB273K has got us covered. It has a perfectionist approved colour quality. With a brightness of 400-nit, it qualifies for amazing lighting. These specifications mean that dimness will not be an issue especially for games that are created in cold colours and tend to look dull without a PC to meet its value.

What is the difference between Exynos 9611 and Snapdragon 712?What is the difference between Exynos 9611 and Snapdragon 712?

Exynos 9611 vs. Snapdragon 712

The dragons are coming.

It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity. What we as a civilization have achieved is very much beyond us. Today technology is so integral that it is somehow interwoven with being enlightened. What we can see is a monitor and wires and metal but they are rudimentary to technology. Their functions are visible. There is something however without which this hardware will become nothing but glowing boxes.

The humongous hardware that is visible to us is created with smaller units that come together to make it work. Like an atom which will never function alone. It contains within itself smaller units like protons and neutrons which are primary to its function. Similarly, any device has a microprocessor that is essential for its functionality.

I look up on Wikipedia the definition of a microprocessor, it says that “the microprocessor is a multipurpose, clock-driven, register-based, digital integrated circuit that accepts binary data as input, processes it according to instructions stored in its memory and provides results (also in binary form) as output.” This is anything but easy to understand.

In the simplest of terms, a microprocessor is a device that contains inside it smaller components like diodes, resistors etc. It actually is a device that could be called a mini CPU because their functions are the same. It contains millions of very small components that allow a device to function. A microprocessor is a device that communicates with other functions which means that without a microprocessor any device would be rendered useless.

This makes it very obvious that the microprocessor is very important for companies involved in the production of any device. Here comes the business opportunity for major manufacturers. They must create ideal microprocessors that will be market dragons. This reminds us of Qualcomm.

Difference between Exynos 9611 and Snapdragon 712

What is the difference between Exynos 9611 and Snapdragon 712

In the early 2019s, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 712 microprocessor. Before this earlier versions of the Snapdragon had also arrived, Snapdragon 665, Snapdragon 710 followed by the Snapdragon 712. What was different about this was that Qualcomm fabricated the Snapdragon 712 on Samsung’s LPP processor. Reviewers called it the very best mid-range microprocessor that year. All was going well until later that year Samsung released the Exynos 9611.

In the late of 2019s when Qualcomm started gaining popularity for the Snapdragon 712, Samsung made their release. Exynos 9611 was advertised as a mid-range microprocessor that was capable of providing high-end abilities. It was clear that Snapdragon 712 found a rival quicker than it was expecting. Many assumed that if it was not for Samsung Exynos 9611, the Snapdragon would have acquired a higher market share.

Quickly they were both being compared. This was also because they both were almost similar in prizes, both categorized and mid-range devices. They say rivals make the best teacher but that is for Samsung and Qualcomm to decide. Until then, the world has spoken, no about who is the best teacher but about who is the best processor.

The best way to decide what device is better is to study and compare their specifications. That is what we do when we buy a phone, right. So in the right corner, we have the oldest market player, Samsung and in the left, we have the new-gen Qualcomm.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 712
What is the difference between Exynos 9611 and Snapdragon 712

Qualcomm has around an 8GB RAM, which is dual channel. Its storage is up to UFS 2.1. For reference, most premium android devices run on UFS 2.1. Snapdragon 712 can support 3360x1440p QHD+ HDR10 display.

It might help to remember that LG has the same monitor display. It has a 10nm process that Samsung has flaunted in many of its devices. The image signal processor is Spectra 250 with 2x. All these features are highly functional and have received no issues.

  •     Samsung Exynos 9611
What is the difference between Exynos 9611 and Snapdragon 712

Samsung has a 4GB quad-channel RAM. Just like the Snapdragon 712 Exynos 9611 to has UFS 2.1 storage. Which to be honest is not much of a challenge as Samsung has always sported that.  Just like its rival the great Snapdragon it a 10nm process.

Reviewers have claimed that the Snapdragon 712 flaunts a better display than the Samsung Exynos but the latter gives better speed in terms of running an application.

The Verdict

The market has spoken. Samsung is a learned player as we might know. It has been very typical to bust its shares, Competitors have found it hard to deliver the same quality at the mid-range price that Samsung has. Turns out Qualcomm beat it this time. With a better GPU, CPU, Display, ISP and AL engine the Snapdragon 712 by Qualcomm won the reviewers heart. Many users were psyched about the sweet deal it provided. Its performance stood a chance among high-end processors and it gave better functionality.

That, however, does not end here. While Qualcomm received better reviews Samsung Exynos 9611 ended up earning more customers. Its customers were also many corporations and not just individual buyers. It clearly states that while better technology might shine brighter customer loyalty is hard to buy. Samsung is a trusted brand. While it will easier for Snapdragon 712 to outshine the Exynos 9611 it will be harder to outsell it.

How To Use Livescribe Pens? How To Use Livescribe Pens?

Livescribe Pens: As Writing Evolves

Writing is a symbol of how mankind has evolved over the centuries. There was a time that writing was practised on cave walls using whatever coloured stones one could find. As we developed and gained more dexterity, we eventually shifted to quills. Somewhere in the mid-18th century, the first fountain pen was created in France. They became a symbol of refinement, associated with fluency and upper classes. Soon after that, a few years before the onset of world war I László Bíró, made the first ballpoint pen for civilians.

Since then many companies patented the pen and its production began as the new tool of writing, emphasizing the world tool. Who would have thought that a tool as simple as a pen could be turned into technology? It has become a symbol of how evolution is constant and has no full stop.

Livescribe has been called by many “the future of writing”. Some also believe that Livescribe may replace ordinary and mundane writing tools forever. However, do not misunderstand Livescribe is not just a pen. It consists of more parts that complement its functionality. Livescribe could be a peek into what the future holds for us. If Livescribe is not just a pen, then what is it and how to use Livescribe pens?

How to Use Livescribe Pens? What is it?

In the simplest manner and quoting Wikipedia terms “The Livescribe paper-based computing platform consists of a digital pen, digital paper, software applications, and developer tools.” This is true but not descriptive. This definition will help us understand what Livescribe pen is but it cannot tell us how it works, what it does, how to use Livescribe pens, and is it really useful for anyone involved in writing.

Livescribe is a complicated device made using basic components that make it useful. While the mechanics behind this device are complicated, it is very user-friendly. Its simplicity in work is not the same as the novelty put into it.

The Smart Pen

how to use livescribe pens

The Smartpen is probably the most integral part of the Livescribe platform. It is around (5/8″ x 6 1/8″) in weight and size. So it is not very uncomfortable to write with, which many potential buyers were concerned about. Every Smartpen comes with a ball-point ink cartridge, a microphone to record audio, a speaker for playback, a small OLED display, an infra-red camera, and internal flash memory that captures handwritten notes, audio and drawings.

That is a long list and not everyone is a tech geek. These specifications each have a role to play in the full functionality of how to use Livescribe pens.

  • Microphone

A lot of us are slow writers and may have difficulty in taking down notes that being quickly spoken. The microphone of the Livescribe Smartpen allows a user to record everything that is being said. This is a godsend for many for example students who are unable to take notes and wish to record lectures for further references. There is a record button on the Smartpen that will enable this facility. It also has play and pause buttons for increased capability.

  • OLED Display
livescribe pens

OLED stands for organic light-emitting diode, this term has always been heard with televisions or desktops. The purpose of an OLED is to display pictures. In the Livescribe Smartpen system, it was used to tell whether the pen is or not. However, after two to three years of use, this was deducted from the design. This compelled users to rely on audio feedback alone. Many have complained to Livescribe about this. There is also no way to determine if the pen is actually recording audio without the OLED indications thus rendering useless one of its main functions.

  • Infra-red Camera

The camera enables the most primary feature of the app that is capturing notes and displaying it on the software. Inside every Livescribe Smartpen, there is a camera that takes a picture of the notes you have written or as you are writing them. This can be very useful for transcribers as it will ease their difficulty in transferring the written word to the typed text. You can watch your notes appear instantly on whatever smart device that you have connected with the Livescribe pen. This feature has a lot of utility in both the corporate and academic word.

how to use livescribe pens

The Paper

If you have a Smartpen then you will need a smarter paper that you can use it on. Livescribe has got that requirement covered. The Livescribe Smartpen is supported by the Livescribe dot paper. It is available in a variety of sizes. You are also allowed to print your own paper if you have a compatible laser printer. Every dotted notebook supported by the Livescribe Pen costs around 8$ per notebook. The question if the product is targeted towards students, does it make sense to have notebooks that cost more than average?

Livescribe Desktop Software

livescribe pen software

If we record notes, we expect to see them too, right? Livescribe Desktop Software allows this projection. The notes will appear just as they were written with the Livescribe pen. If you have used the audio recording you can use the software like the speech button in MS Word. You just have to place your cursor on a word and the audio playback will begin at that point. You can also search for a particular word and listen from there. You can add notes to your notebook at any time and then re-dock your pen to the computer. In many sense, this software is just like MS Word supported by Livescribe Smartpen.

The Livescribe is indeed an evolutionary technology, but is it safe to say that it can change writing forever? It might accelerate a gradual change but it will not bring a drastic transformation. To begin with, not everyone will be comfortable with buying this device and would choose to take notes rather than use a Smartpen to do so. Also, it is possible that academic institutions might not allow these devices. That said, we cannot underestimate what the Livescribe Smartpen has managed to achieve, a sense of development and growth,

What is Everlast Notebook? How does it work? What is Everlast Notebook? How does it work?

Rocketbook: Everlast Notebook From The Future

There are so many movies out there that have given us a peek into what the future looks likes. The world of science fiction is full of these assumptions. A time when cars will fly, dogs will talk and house help would be robots. What else, yes when there will be no space for paper only digital screens will exist. Rocketbook as Everlast Notebook is that digital screen. It is a pen and paper but it is so much more. Everlast Notebook is that peek into the future that was once only available to us in fantasy.

We all know how hard it can be to keep our papers organized. Every day we lose something a paper that we really needed and then we dig through drawers and shelves to find it. Rocketbook could save us that entire struggle.

The need for a gadget like Everlast Notebook increases as issues like climate change and environmental protection gain more and more importance. A majority of woke youth is concerned about the fact that felling of trees will accelerate earth degradation. 160,000 trees are cut down each day to produce paper. While gadgets like Rocketbook cannot completely stop this, it can definitely bring the numbers down substantially. So if you are a person who is concerned about the environment and feel guilty when you throw away papers you might want to consider Rocketbook.

How It Works

The Rocketbook system is made of three components; the Everlast Notebook, the Frixion pen and the Rocketbook App. Buying the three will give you the full functionality of this gadget. The system is a perfect amalgamation of simple but noble solutions with complex technological amendments. They sport an approach that is entrepreneurial in the sense that Rocketbook solves a problem with a very innovative solution.

  • The Rocketbook Notebook

The company claims that it worked closely with paper industry specialists to produce the Everlast Notebook. They found an optimal synthetic polyester blend to create pages of this device. These pages can be easily swiped off of Frixion ink. It also feels very natural to write on these pages. Writing on an Everlast page feels just like writing on regular paper with a smooth finish. However, it is not glossy. It will not allow the pen to smudge as you use it. Not only this. You will be able to erase the ink using a slightly moist cloth.

Another interesting feature of the Everlast Rocketbook is the user preference it keeps in mind. The notebook is available in two sizes, letter and executive. Before you place an order for the Rocket book you got through a survey. The survey allows you to select the size of your notebook accordingly. Every notebook comes with a Frixion pen.  That increases product functionality.

  • The Frixion Pen
frixion pen

The company has advertised the Frixion Pen as any other pen. They have called it just a normal pen in their campaign. However, it is not convincing. There has to be some difference between a ballpoint and Frixion ink that allows the latter to be called a gadget. After all the Frixion pen is wiped off with a wet cloth but remains intact with a dry one, it has to be magic.

Here is where this gets crazy. What the company said was actually true, the pen is very much like any other pen. The Everlast Notebook is not a whiteboard book, they say and that is why it does not need a highly specific pen. You can use any pen from the Pilot Frixion line. Frixion gel ballpoint pens come in all different kinds and colours and are available for purchase online and in stores. So really it is just a normal pen.

  • The Rocketbook Mobile App
Everlast Notebook

The Rocketbook mobile App is a mobile application meant to complement the Rocketbook system. The process to use it is rather simple like scanning a document. Write notes and create designs in your notebook with a pen. Then, using a patent-pending image capture technology. The Rocketbook app will accurately and quickly capture and send your notes to pre-configured cloud services. These cloud services are the most popular apps that mostly all users use. So do not think that you will have to sign up for a very specific cloud service to support the application.

Seven Symbols of Magic

Everlast sharing

No, do not be afraid this is not a reference from some sort of a devil cult. Neither are they secret Harry Potter Horcruxes. The seven symbols are where the magic of the Rocketbook happens. According to the Rocketbook Company, “the seven symbols at the bottom of each page are the magic “buttons” behind the Rocketbook’s quick and easy cloud organization”.

You assign each icon to the destination of your choice, any folder inside Dropbox, Ever note, Google Drive, Box, Slack or your email address. When you mark that icon on your page, the Rocketbook app automatically files your notes in the right place. So really it is easy to use and you do have to say any magical spells to make it work.

QR Code

Everlast Notebook

What is that one thing that scares us whenever we make notes? That we will get the order all wrong and lose some vital piece of information in them. Not only that whenever we have to scan multiple pages we have to be extra careful so we do not misplace the order. You guessed it right, QR code is an intelligent solution to that.

Each page of the Rocketbook Everlast Notebook contains a special QR code. It tells the Rocketbook app the page number of each scan. That means no matter how or when you scan your Everlast, we can always get your notes in the right order. So if you scan six pages and suddenly remember that you forgot to scan number four you can just go back and the order of it will still be perfect.

Each page also has a narrow dark border surrounding it. The border allows the Rocketbook app to find your page quickly in any environment or background. So if you are like the majority with messy tables, the app will not get lost.

Revolutions are gradual processes. They are created over centuries before we see a drastic change. Everlast Notebook Rocketbook is a part of that revolution, the revolution that seeks to leave behind what is basic and mundane. It seeks to accomplish what is fantastical and Everlast Rocketbook is the first step towards that world.

Xbox Series X

Gaming has become one of the largest markets for hardware companies. The competition here is becoming Spartan. Gaming console companies are fighting like gladiators to achieve the ultimate aim of capturing the market. They are also fighting for the title of the greatest tech developers ever. Whoever owns this title will rule the market. So it is only logical that Microsoft decided to take a leap.

Xbox Series X will come with an updated version of the wireless Xbox One controller, which was intended to allow greater dexterity. Microsoft found that by making their consoles to fit the size on an eight-year old’s hands; they were able to create a range that was fit for many users. Small tactile dot designs have been added to the buttons to help players adjust fingers on the controls. The controller also has an added share button that will allow gamers to record and share clips of the game.

A GPU is an important part of the hardware structure. It is an electronic circuit that manipulates memory to accelerate the creation of images. Think of it as when you add sugar to water and use a spoon to stir, so the mixing becomes quicker. GPU is that spoon.

Xbox head Phil Spencer stated that Microsoft was prioritizing high frame rates and faster load times as a priority over higher resolutions, which the Series X achieves via the better-matched capabilities of the CPU and GPU. The Xbox Series X will use an AMD Zen 2 custom CPU and AMD RDNA 2 custom GPU that will allow faster frame rates. Any E-Sports player will realize the true advantage of faster frame rates.

Special Specifications

Microsoft is going all out with the Xbox Series X console. There is no stone that they have left unturned. From a monolithic style to the inclusion of best software, Microsoft is willing to leave no room for criticism. It is possible that for 2020 Xbox Series X is going to be the star that the company is hoping to bring forward. How did they manage to create a console that is allegedly the smartest of this generation?

Ray Tracing

Ray tracing is a graphic technique that is earning more and more attention in the market, especially in the gaming area. Iron Harvest the recently released game also boasted ray tracing. It creates excessive realism something that any gamer appreciate.

Buyers are psyched to explore this feature that the console has come to display. Xbox Series X supports real-time ray-tracing, as seen in the high-end RTX lineup of Nvidia graphics cards released in the last couple of years. To give a reference, the Nvidia graphic cards were immensely applauded by reviewers and in the gaming market. They are the best graphic card manufacturer today and Xbox Series X is trying their best to mimic it.

This anticipated launch of Xbox Series X will give a high refresh rate and higher resolution gaming to people across the globe. While Xbox Series X is a high-end product, it will give users a stunning gaming experience which was, a few years ago offered by only high-end PCs.
